Countersunk ferrite flat cup/pot magnets are the most widely used ferrite magnetic assemblies. Because ferrite(ceramic) magnets are cheap, ferrite countersunk pot(cup) magnets are used when not need too strong a magnetic force. Besides providing the demanded magnetic force at a low cost, the countersunk pot magnets of ferrite cup magnets have excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 250 degrees. Due to these advantages, ferrite(ceramic) countersunk pot magnets are widely used.
With the design of a countersunk mounting hole, ferrite countersunk pot magnets can be fixed with a taper threaded screw. And known as ferrite mountable magnets and screwed-on magnets.
Commonly available surface finishing of ferrite countersunk pot magnets are galvanized(Zinc-coating), Nickel-coating, and spray plastic.
