The magnetic assembly of a ferromagnetic steel cup with an external(male) screw-threaded stud and a ceramic disc magnet glued inside is called ferrite pot/cup magnets with an externally threaded stud. Adopting a new design, it leverages the properties of ferrite cup magnets. You can use a nut to fasten the male threaded stud and install the ceramic pot magnet on any plate board.
The magnetic assemblies are known as male threaded ferrite pot magnets because the threaded bar at the top could take pot magnets with internally threaded holes (internally threaded stud pot magnets / female threaded stud pot magnets) as well as nuts.
