Magnet Assemblies of Different Shapes

Ⅰ. Cup magnet assembly

Plated, low profile, cup magnets are great for: securing steel doors, hanging signs and lights, installing antennas, retrieving steel items from tanks, barrels, bins and lakes, securing tarps in place and many other industrial uses.

The galvanizing process on these magnets helps keep them from rusting. If your application involves wet/humid environments or repeated exposure to moisture, we recommend using galvanized ferrite cup magnet.

Rubber Boot Accessories: Great for protecting painted, plated, polished, etc. surfaces from scratches. Boots also increase resistance to shearing forces. The rubber boot fits over the magnetic side of the cup magnet.

NOTE: Using rubber boots on cup magnets will reduce magnet retention due to air gaps.

Ⅱ. Cylindrical magnet assembly

These powerful cylindrical magnet assemblies are constructed from ceramic, alnico and rare earth magnet materials, ranging in diameter from 1/4" to 2" and hold values up to 172 lbs.

Rare earth magnets are very powerful and compact. AlNiCo magnets are ideal for high temperature applications, while ceramic magnet assemblies are usually the most economical.

Ⅲ. Rectangular horseshoe magnet assembly

1. Ceramic magnet, 2-pole assembly in molded housing. Mounting holes are provided. Maximum temperature 300°F (148°C).

2. Ceramic magnets, 2 or 3 pole assemblies, housed in aluminum housings. Effectively secures heavy components and resists shearing forces. Supplied without mounting holes, either end of the magnet can be drilled, tapped, milled, etc. The maximum temperature is 180°F (82°C).

3. Rare earth magnet material, 2-pole or 3-pole assembly, encapsulated in an aluminum housing. Effectively secures heavy components and resists shearing forces. Supplied without mounting holes by the professional holding magnets factory, either end of the magnet can be drilled, tapped, milled, etc. The maximum temperature is 180°F (82°C).

4. Ceramic magnets (except LP2100R which is rare earth) are placed in a 400 stainless steel channel covered with 300 stainless steel. Use 1/4"-20 (m6) bolts or screws to install this non-corrosive 2-pole assembly. Maximum temperature 300°F (148°C). Rare earth maximum temperature is 180°F (82°C).

5. The ceramic magnet is sandwiched between the steel pole pieces. Install this non-corrosive 2-pole assembly with 10-24 (m5) bolts or screws. Maximum temperature 300°F (148°C).

6. The paint rack magnets use 400 stainless steel channels to cover 300 stainless steel. Use 1/4"-20 (m6) bolts or screws to install this non-corrosive 2-pole assembly. Maximum temperature 350°F (177°C).

7. The rare earth powerful ndfeb magnet material is sandwiched between the steel pole pieces and welded to the stainless steel back plate. This extremely powerful assembly is painted black to fit in narrow openings. Use 1/4"-20 (m6) bolts or screws to install this 2-pole assembly. Maximum temperature is 180°F (82°C).

8. The ceramic magnet material is sandwiched between the steel pole pieces. Fully welded construction with stainless steel cover. No epoxy. Can be used to hold and transfer parts, or to align workpieces during welding operations, and as a holding element on paint racks. Use 1/4"-20 (m6) bolts or screws to install this 2-pole assembly. Maximum temperature is 480°F (248°C).

9. The nickel-plated rare earth magnet material is glued to the brightly plated steel groove. This extremely powerful assembly is ideal for low-profile applications that require a strong pull. Install this 2-pole assembly using 10-32 (m5) bolts or screws. The maximum temperature is 180°F (82°C).

10. The ceramic magnet material is placed in the stainless steel channel and covered. This full-length magnetic retention provides ample room for a variety of fastener heads. Install this non-corrosive 2-pole assembly using 10-24 (m5) bolts or screws. Maximum temperature 300°F (148°C).
